Balasaheb Thackeray
Bal Keshav Thackeray, popularly known as Shivsena Supremo Balasaheb Thackeray, is an ideology of the masses of Maharashtra, especially the 'MARATHI MANUS ' of Mumbai. Regardless of this mantle, this globally acclaimed leader took pride in calling himself a cartoonist. He was an extremely intelligent, spontaneous, and versatile cartoonist of global repute. His cartoons became the mouthpiece for societal and political maladies. Being hard hitting and poignant, these cartoons captivated the minds of readers and nudged them to introspect. The editorials and cartoons of 'Weekly Marmik' and 'Daily Samna' created a public platform where societal injustice and political wrongdoings could be debated by the common man. He energised the suppressed, impressed, oppressed, and depressed masses and founded the politically strong and powerful organisation 'SHIVSENA'. Shivsena not only hit Maharashtra by storm but shook the political scenario of capital Delhi. Marmik was the cradle of Shivsena. Balasaheb Thackeray was not only a candid journalist but also a fierce fighter, fearless orator, aggressive agitator, and truly a leader of the masses.

The towering personality of Hinduhruday Samrat, Shivsena chief Balasaheb Thackeray is revered and respected not only by the people of Maharashtra but by the whole nation as well. His aspirations, actions, and philosophy receive great honour and pride by the masses. So giving respect to the wish of the masses to immortalize such a multidimensional and versatile personality in the form of a memorial is being fulfilled.
This memorial comprises reminiscences of Balasaheb, valuable possessions of Balasaheb, his correspondence with his friends and aqiaintees, his innovative cartoons and illustrations, editorials, articles, and his journalistic literature.

मला शिवसेनाप्रमुख श्री. बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांच्याबद्दल नितांत आदर आहे.
शिवसेनाप्रमुख हे असे एकमेव राजकीय नेते आहेत की, जे जातीयवादापासून दूर आहेत.
सध्या राजकारण आणि जातीय समीकरणे या एकाच नाण्याच्या दोन बाजू झाल्या आहेत.
